Ferrari Moments App

For the third US F1 Grand Prix at The Circuit of the Americas, Ferrari wanted a way for VIP guests to learn more about their racing heritage. Many guests would be owners and drivers in the Ferrari Challenge.

In a few short weeks, we created an app around moments in Ferrari’s racing history and their dominance at other F1 tracks that inspired the turns at Austin.

A Simple Timeline and Map Interface

We wanted to design an experience that could be understood quickly but allowed for exploration. The photo timeline shows important cars, drivers, and races over the decades. The map of the Austin track highlights turns inspired by other F1 tracks and details the past Ferrari victories there. Guests could view one moment or the whole history.

The entire Ferrari Moments app was made iteratively by a small team. We designed the experience, created all the content, and developed the app all in tandem. The Austin event was a success and the app has been expanded to include other tracks.
